A new kind of community created by you, for you.

Daily Journal Writing will help guide you and help transform your pain into purpose.
The Love Story Expressive Writing Program is designed to help you understand what’s been bothering you and how your past has been haunting you. Uncover present patterns of behavior that you may not be aware of (or choose to ignore) by confronting it through daily journaling. Dive into the uncomfortable truth of your experiences through fiction gives you the room that you need to figure out what really deserves your attention.
The Love Story Expressive Writing Program is a journal-writing community built with your needs of daily journaling in mind. More than just a place to share your story, our program includes an online community of kindred spirits – Journal-Artists to stimulate, structure, and support you throughout your journey as a creative writer. Community. Consistency. Catharsis. That’s The Love Story.
Community

Over 750 journal entries. 100 Artist interviews. One convenient, virtual portal.

All created to activate your subconscious.

Just search for your pain point, and find inspiration through another author’s entry.

Whatever you’re struggling with, someone else has probably written about it. If not, you get to be the first to help someone who needs it.

Consistency

The Love Story offers unlimited group writing sessions, which we call: “The Mirror Darkly.” Enlist the help of our qualified facilitators, and join based on your schedule. Perfect for beginners, or if you’re always on the go.

Then, The Producer’s Playbook digs even deeper – to discern your passions, pursuits, and purpose through shadow illumination, discernment, and integration.

We get to the root of the problem by providing you with your solution – the opposite of a one-size-fits-all approach.

Catharsis

You will find support from other Journal-Artists, and begin to discover your true and false desires, design, and destiny in the process of consistent journaling.

Our community is designed to help you achieve catharsis through the soul-mirroring effect. We cover shadow work, shadow discernment, and shadow integration in our program so you may begin discerning truth from lies in your life.

Journal to reveal, feel, deal, and heal.

“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” — 1 Corinthians 13:12, KJV
Expressive Writing is an effective way to transform trauma into creative drama. When journaling online about our painful truths inside fiction, we can safely bring our “shadows” to light, or understand what triggers us on a deeper level. Sometimes, we need others to validate our experiences to feel less alone. And others need that in return. It’s a win-win situation.

Testimonials

“You have the ability to just be like, ‘you know, this is my truth and if anybody doesn’t like it that’s fine because as far as they are concerned, everything that I’m saying is not real.’ It’s really helpful to know that people aren’t gonna to know what’s real, what’s not real, with what you write. You can release things and nobody will be the wiser about it.”

Chelsea Wolfe
Journal-Artist

“I want to go back and explore. Why did it happen when it happened. …Women often suppress their emotions…we think, ‘if I just swallowed that back, it’ll go away,’ and it’s like ‘Nope! Still here.’ and so I think I’m starting to really figure, I can’t swallow that back. I need to let things out.”

Dorothy England
Journal-Artist

“The point of journaling is to really just look inside and be like, ‘okay, what is this? Why am I feeling it? And what do I do with it?’ And that’s sort of what you have to ask yourself when you are journaling.”

Increase Emotional Intelligence

Becoming self-aware gives you the power to break toxic habits, make positive changes in your life, and become more mature. Emotional health is just as important as physical health.

Gain Self-Respect

Self-respect is earned through watching yourself set healthy boundaries, knowing what you like and don’t like, & becoming confident in who you are through self-acceptance.

Gain Self-Confidence

Owning your shadow – and learning how to integrate it – will effectively increase your self-confidence and boost your self-esteem. Once you understand yourself better, you can start to accept it.
